Event Name: McDonald’s Harbor Lights Triathlon

Event Summary: Join more than 1,500 triathletes on Waukegan’s beautiful north shore lakefront for the 6th annual McDonald's Harbor Lights Triathlon. The race includes an 800 yard swim with a beach start and finish, a 13.2-mile bike on a closed and flat course with plenty of room for passing, and a 4-mile run that includes a stretch down beautiful tree-lined Sheridan Road. The picnic and sponsorship area makes it a fun event for spectators as well. Free McDonald’s iced coffee anyone?

Event Location: Waukegan Municipal Beach, 201 E. Sea Horse Drive, Waukegan, IL (45 minutes north of downtown Chicago)
