MC Lars makes intellectual indie hip-hop. He has been touring non-stop since 2003 and has built a loyal fan-base by opening for acts like Snoop Dogg, Nas, Gym Class Heroes, Bowling for Soup, Wheatus and Simple Plan. He has created a genre called "lit-hop", where he writes songs about classic Edgar Allan Poe and William Shakespeare works. He just played the entire Vans Warped Tour in 2011 and will be on it again in 2013. His new project "the Edgar Allan Poe EP" was recently released by Lars on his own label Horris Records, featuring all songs inspired by Poe projects.  He debuted the single "Flow Like Poe" at Carnegie Hall last June.  He has toured the US, Canada, Europe, New Zealand, Australia and Japan and is excited to be coming back to the UK yet again.
