Have you always wanted to learn 3D modeling and animation? This course focuses on learning the basics of Autodesk Maya, one of the leading software applications for 3D digital animation and visual effects. Techniques covered include exploring a range of tools to understand basic modeling, animations, textures, rendering and lighting to achieve photo realistic imagery and animated visual affects. Instructor, Lorenzo Barr has a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Media Arts and Computer Animation, with an emphasis in Mechanical Simulation Technology, from the Art Institute of Atlanta. Lorenzo has been using Autodesk Maya for more than seven years and he enjoys the craft of translating his industry experience into the class room to introduce strategies for success. Lorenzo is currently working as Multimedia Design Engineer for Lockheed Martin Training and Simulation Inc and is also currently working towards his Masters in Management.
This course runs March 8, 2011 through March 17, 2011 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9pm. Tuition is $329.
