MAY DAY
When is it?
It is on first may. This day is called “May day” around the world.
What does it celebrate?
In this day celebrates the struggle of workers Chicago againts the capitalism in United States of América at the end of the XIX century. Before 21 century the workers of world wide celebrate it as the day of international proletariat.
How do people celebrate?
It depends, the people celebrate it with strikes, rallies and stuff.
Do they eat any special foods?
I`m no sure, but in London workers of different countries share their typical foods and things.
Do they wear costumes or put up decorations?
I’m not sure, they wear red T-shirts and things, so they wear red flags and stuff like that.
How are you going to celebrate it next time?
May be, we are going to meet in the school with fathers, mothers and students.
