May Beer Tasting: Bock Beers May 12, 2005

Bock beers are brewed in Germany to mark the passage from winter into spring. These beers are smooth and malty, with a refreshing lager crispness despite their higher alcohol content. Come and celebrate Spring in the German tradition -- with a Bock Festival! The event will feature as many authentic lager bockbiers as we can find as well as weizen bocks. A beer to satisfy every palate plus an appetizer buffet, an event program with tasting notes for all featured beers, and a door prize drawing.
