Which one is better, Richmond Coliseum in Richmond VA or Verizon Center in Washington DC? I was told by my wife that the seating in Richmond Coliseum are more intimate and up close than the Verizon Center. I also heard that the sound system is lacking at the Verizon Center from the past events taken place. So I’m assuming that since the Richmond Coliseum is more intimate, that means my wife and I can hear Maxwell hitting every notes nice and clear.

I was eager to see Maxwell in my hometown DC on Nov 2nd but the $88 (Level one seating) tickets was sold out at 10am when it was open to the public off the break and $178 (Floor seating) tickets wasn't even floor seating tickets. I feel that my wife and I deserves the best seats and view and I wasn't going to settle for less. We found great seats for less than $70 at the Richmond Coliseum. Do you think I pass that up? Hell no, I will be traveling from DC to Richmond on Sep 30th to see and hear the deep lyrics of the one and only Maxwell with my wife, I know we as fans of Maxell will be please indeed no matter where we see him, but I wanted to see him in my hometown but couldn't because of the seating and a conflict. But, hey things do happen for a reason, I’m a firm believer in that. It just might be a better in VA than DC, a mini vacation for us.
