Mavis Staples' legendary voice and history are already etched in the annals of popular music. A distinguished songstress and Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Mavis' vocals helped provide the spiritual soundtrack of the 1960s civil rights movement. Today, she continues to bring her gospel-based music to audiences around the world. The Blind Boys, headed by Clarence Fountain, have been together for more than 50 years and continue to bring audiences to their feet with foot-stomping, jubilee-style gospel music.
