Composer, pianist and accordionist Maurizio Minardi releases his latest album The Cook, the Clown, the Monk and the Accordionist!. Reminiscent of Nino Rota, Yann Tiersen, Rene Aubry, Michael Nyman, Ennio Morricone and Sakamoto, Maurizio's intimate and expressive sound is defined by a daring and unique combination of genres from baroque to minimalist jazz fired up with splashes of tango and rumba.

Based in London since 2008, Maurizio has performed with artists including Carmen Souza, Antonio Forcione, Asaf Sirkis, Brandon Allen and Quentin Collins. This is his ninth studio album.
