Maundy Thursday Service 7:30 pm April 1, 2010

Franconia United Methodist Church ("where there are no strangers!") invites you to worship with us on Maundy Thursday, Apr 1, 7:30 pm. There will a short presentation by persons in costume representing those who knew Jesus, who wanted to tell what He had done for him or her. These will include such familiar characters as Peter’s mother-in-law, the Samaritan woman, the man with the withered hand and the boy with loaves and fishes. After the Tenebrae Service, the Pastor will bless the elements, and those taking communion will serve one another around a large table.

Apr 2 - Good Friday, Seven Last Words of Christ, 7:30 pm;
Apr 3 - Easter Egg Hunt 10 - 12 noon;
Apr 4 - Easter, 8:30 and 11 am.

Our Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall are handicapped accessible and assisted listening devices are available. Childcare is available for infants to 3 year olds.
We're at the corner of Beulah and Franconia, next to the Franconia Elementary School, convenient to the Fairfax Connector routes 231, 232, and 310.
