Matt Keegan: New Windows March 28, 2009

Domestic spaces are presented in various configurations from the comforting and sun-drenched to the disconcerting and precarious. Six photo-collages entitled 'New Windows' feature images taken in an apartment in New York's Lower East Side where Keegan previously resided. A photograph embedded into the gallery wall and a painting contributed by a friend of the artist, Richard Aldrich, define the space and emphasize the fragile membrane that delineates the interior from the exterior.
