On Sunday, August 17, 2008, at 6:30 pm, the Matsiko Children’s choir comprised of thirty or so orphans from the largest orphanage in Kenya, Uganda, will perform a free concert at the Nexstage Theater in Ketchum, ID. The Matsiko Children’s Choir touches the hearts of all who hear their hope-filled message. This contagious message of hope has captured the lives of the children in the choir, bringing ability and potential to dreams that once seemed so out of reach. These children receive sponsorship support through International Children's Network (ICN), providing them with educational support that will last them all the way through the university. Mission Statement
International Children's Network (ICN) exists to sponsor orphaned and at-risk children all the way through the university and vocational levels while giving sponsors the opportunity to meet their child face to face, no matter where he or she lives in the world.

In Sun Valley, the group’s sponsors will be Pawan and Helen Mehra of Sun Valley. The Nexstage Theatre has donated the use of the theater for the concert.

A video of the concert in Seattle can be seen here.

In addition to the free children’s concert the children have several other scheduled performances.
