'Material Color' spotlights the innovative ways contemporary artists are handling paint. The twenty artists in this exhibition apply oil, acrylic, encaustic and other kinds of pigment using both conventional and unexpected methods. They drip, pour, squeeze, squirt and layer their colors sometimes even allowing the paint to stand alone as a physical object.
