Every artist comes to a place where just technique and imitation are not enough. It is at this point that the “Why,” the intention, has to transcend the “How.” For many artists this is the tipping point into real, personal expression and creativity. The international teacher and award-winning painter Skip Lawrence is known for being able to challenge artists to find their own passionate, honest voice. Through demonstration, lecture, critique, and plenty of personal feedback, Skip’s weeklong workshop brings out the bet in every painter. Skip works win water-media throughout the class, but all media are welcome.
