Every Thursday night - DJ Paul V. will man the decks at Skinny's Lounge and
offer up every musical genre from the 60's to the 2K's -
Rock 'N Roll, Funk, Electro, New Wave, Indie, Disco, Soul 'n more -
mainly in remix and mashup form. And like the tagline says:
"Reinventing the soundtrack of your life on the dancefloor"

Says DJ Paul V. -
"As a longtime club DJ, I get tired of dropping certain overplayed songs.
I think the crowd is pretty sick of them too. So when I find really great
remixes, updates, or mashups of every kind of music, that's when I get
excited to play many of those hits again. Thus, the 'Mash Appeal' title.
But, this will *not* be a mashup-only event. I'm also excited to try something
new outside of Silver Lake or Echo Park, and Skinny's Lounge is a very cool,
hip and friendly venue in the Noho Arts district."

30-year club and radio DJ best known as the co-creator of the club Dragstrip 66
(which just ended by celebrating it's 20th Anniversary at The Echoplex).
He became known as "the mashup guy" from his 4 years on Indie 103.1 FM,
with "The Mashup Of The Day" feature and his Friday "Smash Mix" DJ mixes
His forte' has always been 80's, alternative, indie rock, and electro beats,
all of which are now heard every Friday and Saturday night on Moheak.com.
