One Columbia Avenue
Taoma Park, Maryland 20912

As the first state in the nation to legitimize companies organized for social benefit, Maryland stands poised for triple bottom line (people-planet-profit) business growth, led by women of vision and purpose.

ChangeMatters and The Still Point invite local women social entrepreneurs to a special dialogue on how for-profit/nonprofit social ventures provide products and services supporting causes and communities.

This session will gather women social entrepreneurs to connect resources and information on:

* how the new Maryland "benefit corporation" law will help social innovation and community benefit activity

* which existing and potential technical assistance channels best support women-owned social ventures in Maryland

* what's needed to sustain emerging and growing activity
