Maryland Home & Garden Show Preview Party to benefit Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake March 2, 2012

The Second Annual Maryland Home & Garden Show Preview Party, benefiting Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake, will take place on Friday, March 2, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., at the Maryland State Fairgrounds, 2200 York Road in Timonium.

Party guests will enjoy an escape from the winter frost as they leisurely wander through garden displays by the state’s best landscape designers. Participants will receive an exclusive sneak peek at the show’s 17 Books in Bloom-themed garden displays prior to the official public opening the next day. As part of the Books in Bloom theme, each garden will be inspired by a book selected by the designer.

Ticket proceeds for the Garden Preview Party will benefit Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake, a non-profit organization that brings people together to build decent, affordable homes that change lives, empower families and strengthen communities.

Garden Preview Party tickets are $50 in advance online and $60 at the door. Tickets purchased online will be available at “will call” the night of the event. Each ticket includes admission to both the Garden Preview Party and the Maryland Home & Garden Show for one day during regular show hours.
