Mary Stuart is an enduring classic that depicts the conflict between two religions and two women with claims to the English throne -- Mary Stuart and Queen Elizabeth. They must temper their passion and beliefs to fit their male-dominated world in order to be deemed worthy enough to rule. The play was recently revived on Broadway.
