2009 is the Centennial Anniversary of “Mary Pickford’s 100th Year in Film” to Celebrate the Lark is presenting the West Coast Premiere of:
"Mary Pickford, The Muse of the Movies" a documentary film that traces the life and work of the legendary silent film star, movie pioneer, and keen businesswoman who co-created United Artists Studios. Pickford's life (1892-1979) also parallels an even larger story, the telling of the birth of the cinema itself. “Mary Pickford: The Muse of the Movies is a wonderful heartfelt film that evokes a special time in the history of cinema”. Says Ken Burns, Documentary filmmaker.

There will be a Q & A after the film with Emmy and Golden Reel Award winner filmmaker Nicholas Eliopoulos.
