STG Presents Marty Riemer's Funny Festival at The Paramount Theatre in Seattle on Friday, January 15, 2010 featuring Bill Burr, Jeff Garlin, Nick Thune and Kyle Cease.

Marty Riemer is known for supporting live comedy through his previous radio programs and hosted comedy festivals, each selling-out in a matter of minutes. Previous festivals programmed and hosted by Riemer, and radio co-host Jodi Brothers, have included: The Flight of the Conchords, Jim Gaffigan, Mike Birbiglia, Tom Papa, Maria Bamford, Demetri Martin, and many more. This will be the sixth comedy festival Marty Riemer has hosted in Seattle.

Bill Burr first gained notoriety for his reoccurring role on the second season of Chappelle’s Show and has since gone on to become a regular performer on the Late Show with David Letterman, and host his own HBO Special and an hour-long Comedy Central program, “Why Do I Do This?”.

Jeff Garlin co-stars and executive produces the critically acclaimed HBO series Curb Your Enthusiasm. A Second City Theatre alumnus, Garlin has toured the country as a stand-up comedian. The Chicago-native studied filmmaking and has extensive TV and film experience, most recently voicing "The Captain" in the Pixar movie WALL-E.

Nick Thune, comedian/actor/writer/bird owner, is from Seattle, Washington. Nick has been featured on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, as well as his half-hour Comedy Central special, and iThunes, a series of short films for the web.

Marty Riemer & Jodi Brothers, wholly independent since 2009, are known for hosting The Marty Riemer Show, mornings on KMTT – 103.7 The Mountain (they were relieved of their roles at the station in September, 2009; Riemer had been a host on the air at The Mountain since 1997). On the air since age 13, Riemer developed his career in radio at KCMU, KZOK, KJET, KJR, and KXRX; a Washington native, Riemer graduated from Auburn High school and the University of Washington with a Master’s in Engineering. Brothers joined Riemer on the air at KMTT in 2007; her previous work includes stand-up comedy and co-hosting mornings on KNDD and KROQ.
