Take a break from the heat of summer and escape to the coldness of space with back-to-back classics at Miller Outdoor Theatre. Thursday, June 30, grab some Reese’s Pieces for Steven Speilberg’s moving story of a friendly alien left behind on Earth by his space-traveling friends – E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial. Catch Stanley Kubrick’s landmark film about man’s ascent into the space age, 2001: A Space Odyssey, playing the night of July 1. Both movies start at 8:30 p.m. Show is presented by Miller Outdoor Theatre.
