Marriott Family Golf Day May 10, 2008

Spend a day with two great things: golf and family! JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa is hosting a free family golf day on May 10, 2008. Marriott Family Golf Day will consist of a day long clinic that involves various golf skills and challenges from putting and chipping to long drive contests which will be headed by Starr Pass Country Club golf professionals. No clubs? No problem. The Starr Pass Golf & Country Club will be providing free golf club rentals for adults and children during the clinic. Check-in is at 12 pm and food and beverage can be purchased throughout the day from Catalina Steakhouse. All participants must register by May 7 with David Lee, Starr Pass Assistant Golf Professional, by calling 520-670-0406. If junior golfers are looking to improve their game after the clinic is over, Starr Pass Golf & Country Club will offer a Competitive Summer Golf Camp for the first time this coming summer. The one-week program will be offered four times throughout the summer on June 16 - 20; June 23 - 27; July 14 - 18; and July 21 - 25. The cost is $195 per student, per week. A maximum of 12 students will be accepted per session, allowing a more rewarding experience.
