Marpole Car Free Festival Workshop April 10, 2008

The successful Car-Free festival on Commercial Drive is expanding all the way to Marpole this year. While still in early stages of preparation, the Marpole Festival on Car Free Vancouver Day, Sunday June 15,2008, plans to close the “cut-through” section of Marine Drive between 70th and Granville. [Next year, with your support, we’ll close down Granville Street.] The event will be an afternoon/early evening celebration of our neighbourhood with free music, children’s activities,street hockey, art and lots more fun.
