KPFA, Global Exchange, and Cody's Books invite you to a special event on November 28th in Berkeley: Mark Schapiro and Michael Pollan in conversation on Schapiro's book, EXPOSED: The Toxic Chemistry of Everyday Products and What's at Stake for American Power. Mark Schapiro is the editorial director of the Center for Investigative Reporting. He has written extensively on foreign affairs and his work has appeared in Harper’s, The Atlantic Monthly, The New York Times Magazine and other publications, and he has reported stories for Frontline, NOW with Bill Moyers, and public radio’s Marketplace. Michael Pollan is the author, most recently, of The Omnivore's Dilemma. He is now the Knight Professor of Science and Environmental Journalism at UC Berkeley.
