Mark Gleason and Caia Koopman July 26, 2008

This exhibition presents works by two painters: Mark Gleason and Caia Koopman. Both make the human/animal relationship a cornerstone of their work. Coopman's whimsical illustrations depict coteries of willowy female subjects surrounded by equally fragile flora and fauna. Gleason uses a more lifelike style to match exquisitely rendered human protagonists with their animal-kingdom counterparts.
