Among the great Italian Renaissance centers of artistic production, Venice was one of the richest. From the Bellini family of the 15th century to the artists that are the focus of the MFA exhibition-Titian, Tintoretto, and Veronese-Venice gave us some of the most beautiful and innovative artists of the period.
