Maritime Patuxent: A River and Its People August 9, 2008

This permanent exhibit tells the story of human activity along the Patuxent River from the seventeenth-century colonial period to the present. You'll learn more about topics such as river transportation, trade, shipping, boatbuilding, commercial fishing, military engagements, community life and recreation. On display are photographs, artifacts, tools, scale models, documents, maps, photographs, paintings and more.
