Marion Pike: the Eyes - Mirrors of the Soul May 30, 2007

This exhibition examines, within the context of the artist/subject relationship, how Pike dealt with the specific dilemma of portraiture, that is, how to bring the perceived and the real together on canvas without sacrificing one's artistic freedom or the likeness legitimately expected by the model.
