A celebration of the Marin History Museum's newest exhibition, "Ranching and Rockin' at Olompali"- featuring the vibrant history of the Olompali Ranch and State Park. Guests will have an opportunity to view historic maps, ranch artifacts and photographs detailing Olompali’s diverse use as an early Miwok village in Marin, a Mexican land grant ranchero, a 4-acre Victorian garden and dairy, swim club, and hippie commune. This new exhibition will be ongoing throughout the year and will complement the museum’s current 2009-2010 exhibition at the Boyd Gate House, Growing the Future: Farming Families of Marin scheduled to run through 2010. Catering for reception will be provided by Forkful of Earth.
