MARIN ARTS OPEN 2010 GALLERY EXHIBIT

The Marin Arts Council, now at its new location at 906 4th Street, San Rafael, opens its new gallery and introduces Marin Arts Open 2010 - Open Studios & Festival (formerly Marin Open Studios) with an exhibit featuring the artworks of more than 300 artists participating in the two-weekend event May 1 & 2 and May 8 & 9, 2010 at artist studios throughout Marin County.
The Marin Arts Open 2010 exhibit (open April 25 through May 23) features art representing a spectrum of artistic disciplines including painting, sculpture, mixed-media, jewelry, weaving, metalwork, stained glass, photography, pottery and etchings. A related gallery exhibit will also be located at 888 4th Street, San Rafael.
Performing arts and poetry events will also be presented at the Marin Arts Council San Rafael gallery location. Visit www.marinarts.org for details.
