It’s the show that London has been waiting for. Maria Rita is coming to London looking and sounding better than ever before.

Daughter of the acclaimed, Elis Regina, Maria Rita inherited her dulcet tones and stage presence from her mother, interpreting songs with an emotional force that few other artists can muster.
She earned two Latin Grammy's in 2003, a further two in 2005 and has been nominated for this year’s BBC World Music Awards.
Maria Rita has just set off on a world tour to promote her most recent album Samba Meu. At the height of her career, she will perform her first-ever UK show on Saturday 28th June at the Barbican. This show will be an unforgettable performance by one of the biggest phenomenon’s in contemporary Brazilian music.
