The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts presents MARGOT MacDONALD on the Millennium Stage!

Margot will perform as an acoustic quartet with K.C. Hatton, Trevor Olexy and Danny Schwartz. This unique configuration forms an exciting bridge between her electric performances with a full rock band and her solo acoustic performances. In addition to songs from her 2009 album WALLS, Margot will add some special numbers for the occasion.

With an amazingly rich voice and impressive range, Margot's vocal style embodies "the heritage of everyone from Stevie Nicks to Whitney Houston to Sheryl Crow" (On Tap Magazine). She is the 2007 New Artist of the Year and 2008 Modern Rock Vocalist Wammie winner, as well as artist-in-residence at Strathmore. Margot is in demand as a live performer and has shared the stage with the likes of Josh Groban, Placido Domingo, Judy Collins, and Eddie Kowalcyzk (of Live). Her music helps support numerous charities.

The Kennedy Center Millennium Stage performances began in March 1997 as part of the Performing Arts for Everyone Initiative. An average of 400 people per day visit the Kennedy Center to attend these free performances.
