Mareda Gaither-Graves studied both in the United States and in Europe. She was a recipient of a Fulbright Grant, John Hay Whitney Fellowship, and won first prize in the Faure competition in Paris and Verviers's Vocal competition in Belgium. She has performed as an orchestral soloist and recitalist in various European countries as well as on Public Radio in France. She has given recitals in the major concert halls in New York, in Kennedy Center in Washington, DC., and throughout the United States. Her repertoire includes vocal literature from the Baroque Period through the 21st century. She also has a wide variety of oratorio experience.
