Marcus Cohen & the Congress October 5, 2011

Marcus Cohen founded this project in the summer of 2009 when he first met guitarist Vic Wong, drummer Jayme Arredondo, and bassist Mark Allen Piccolo. They then began to lay the foundation for what is now known as The Congress- a mesmerizing 12 piece ensemble of musicians, vocalists, spoken word, and an emcee. The idea was inspired from Marcus' love for soul, jazz, funk, hip hop, and gospel.
