WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
In the first two quarters since the iPhone 3G was launched Apple has sold more than 11 million phones and the Apple app store has grown from 500 applications available in July 2008 to over 15,000. Applications range from games and book readers to whole enterprise apps for companies such as Kraft Foods and SI International. An eco-system of development, sales and marketing, advertising, and review web resources have sprung up during this same period to profit from the dramatic shift in computing and information management that the iPhone represents.

Our panel are innovators in the iPhone market and will discuss what the market represents, how to approach and profit from it, and how to get started in this exciting new space. Please join us to learn how to take advantage of this paradigm shift in cell phone, information access, and computing.

OUR PANEL
Derek Del Conte is a founder and the CEO of Inner Fence, creator of iPhone applications such as Timewerks, a Credit Card Terminal and Infinite SMS which allows you to send and receive free SMS messages to US numbers using your iPod touch or iPhone. Derek is also the founder of the Seattle iPhone Development group. Prior to founding Inner Fence, Derek was a Program Manager at Microsoft, where he worked on Active Directory Federation Services for Windows Server 2003 R2 and Windows Server 2008. Before Microsoft, he founded a web and email virtual hosting company that he ran through high school and college. Derek attended the University of Pennsylvania.

Mike Schneider is a technology attorney and iPhone developer. In his spare time he has developed a variety of iPhone applications, the most notable of which is TouchType, a landscape email program with spell check functionality. TouchType peaked at #13 in the iTunes App Store in October. Schneider's other applications include SMS Touch, Direct Line, Private-I, and I Love Lost.

Mike received his Bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley and his Juris Doctorate from UC Hastings. Mike is with the law firm of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he focuses on software and interactive entertainment companies. Damon Danieli is a Founder and the CTO of Zero260, Inc., a Madrona Venture Group portfolio company which leverages the three new game changers in mobile: The new capabilities of the device; The connection between mobile and web communities; and The consumer-focused marketplaces. Zero260 recently released their first iPhone app, PhotoFeedd (www.feedd.com), a fresh new way of sharing photos. Prior to starting Zero260, Damon was a 14-year Microsoft veteran and a core designer of Xbox Live.
