Manchester’s buzziest weekend is the annual MAPS FESTIVAL
30th April to 3rd May in the Northern Quarter.

Tubelord, Where’s Strutter, Doll & The Kicks, Orphan Boy, My Luminaries, Maria Jordon, Sophie’s Pidgeons, The Second Floor and Danny Mahon aree among star turns at this year’s Maps Festival.

Parties, launches, exhibitions, cocktails, clubs, dance, disco, crafts, BBQs, markets, family events, circus, photography, galleries, food and drink offers film, Brazilian carnival, film, fun and games, the coolest & hottest live entertainment and every kind of musical experience – music trail included – all united. Various sites; Danny Mahon’s Magical Musical Tour – taking in some of the areas more unusual venues, live music and performance at busking pitches throughout the Northern Quarter + Circus Jam workshops on Thomas Street - a free creative space open to everyone, running their own hubs and classes at the Contact Theatre and the Dancehouse regularly, as well as taking their performances to various festivals across the country. Busking Pitches around the area with live music, spoken word and performance – keep your eyes peeled for something on a street corner near you!
