MAP opening + IMAGE BATTLE Photo Contest / Vernissage MAP + Concours de photo IMAGE BATTLE November 3, 2009

Take part in MAP’s (Make Art Public’s) IMAGE BATTLE photo contest, with a screening at MAP’s next opening “LA VIE EST UN SPORT EXTRÊME” at the SAT (Société des arts technologiques), next November 3rd starting from 5pm!

YOUR THEME: LIFE IS AN EXTREME SPORT

Participate by email or in person at the November 3rd launch at the SAT, with your USB key or CD. Inspired by the iPod Battles, IMAGE BATTLE will enable three artists to have to work exposed on billboards throughout the city of Montreal for a period of one month!

Rules and specifications:

- Dimensions for submisssion: 5 x 7 – 200 dpi
- All originals must at least be between the sizes of 11 x 14 – 300 dpi to 20 x 28 – 300 dpi
- Any photos containing any sexual, religious, violent or discriminating content will be rejected, that also goes for your kitty photos

Enter “IMAGE BATTLE CONTEST” in the subject box, along with your name, age, city, country and website (if applicable)

Contest ends on November 30th and the winners will be announced on December 14th via the Facebook group and on the MAP blog (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=23132777767 - http://mouvementartpublic.wordpress.com)

Participez dès maintenant par courriel ou présentez-vous au lancement du 3 novembre à la SAT dès 17 h, avec en main votre clé USB ou CD. Inspiré des iPod Battle, IMAGE BATTLE permettra à trois gagnants d’avoir leurs photos exposées sur des structures publicitaires (« billboards ») dans la ville de Montréal pendant une durée d’un mois!

Règlements et spécifications techniques :

- Dimensions pour soumission: 5 x 7 – 200 dpi
- Toutes les grandeurs des originaux devront au moins être entre 11 x 14 – 300 dpi jusqu’à 20 x 28 – 300 dpi.
- Toutes photos ayant pour thème le sexe, la violence, la religion ou tout autre sujet discriminatoire ne seront pas éligibles au concours, ceci va aussi pour vos photos de chatons su’l sofa ;)
