It may be a man's world, but for too long the world of musical theatre has been dominated by the un-manly nonsense of scripts, sets, linear storylines, falling chandeliers and dancing girls. Not anymore. Come enjoy a new kind of musical: a mansical. Using a single suggestion from the audience, the seven handsome men of Mansical improvise a fully realized musical joy ride complete with absurd characters, hilarious songs, manly dancing, and wigs. Lots of wigs. Mansical explores each new scene and song with the ferocity of a linebacker and the precision of a nail technician. Along with the outstanding musical direction of the imcomparable Stephanie McCullough, the cast of Mansical is a who's-who dream team of musical improv veterans from Chicago's most storied improv institutions. As a special guest of mansical, each week on of Chicago's most outstanding all-female improv troupes will open the show.
