Please join us on Wednesday, October 1 for a special Young Leaders Circle roundtable discussion on America's financial crisis. Congress is set to pass a bailout package with a price tag approaching a staggering $1 trillion. Storied financial firms such as Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers are belly up. Merrill Lynch has sold out to a commercial bank. The private credit markets are all but closed down, and stock market shares are down 20 percent over the past year. The landscape of Wall Street has been irrevocably changed. But what does it all mean for main street? Our panel of experts will discuss the financial crisis, the government response, what the presidential candidates are saying, and how this could impact you.

The Manhattan Institute founded the Young Leaders Circle to provide a forum for metro-NY professionals in their 20s and 30s who are concerned about free-market ideas and public policy. Members are invited to all Young Leaders Circle events and are encouraged to forward the invitation to guests who can attend one event for $45 (which can be applied toward their membership, if they decide to join).
