Mandarin 601 (Level 20) January 27, 2012

Suitable for those who have completed all levels of Mandarin up to 504 or who have completed 495 hours of recent face-to-face tuition. This course is designed for those learners who have reached the proficiency that allows them to fulfil everyday social and transactional needs and wish to continue their study at an intermediate to advanced level. In addition to language skills, it furthers students' knowledge and understanding of Chinese culture and society. A cross-cultural exploration between East and West is integrated throughout the course. In particular, Mandarin 601 focuses on education and philosophy in contemporary China.
