Manchester Business School will host an innovative seminar focusing on business executive management in relation to sports leadership. Influential international speaker Tudor Rickards, Professor of Creativity & Organizational Change at Manchester Business School, will discuss and contrast leadership styles between Miami Heat's Pat Riley and Manchester United's Sir Alex Ferguson. The free business event will take place on Monday, July 25 at 7 p.m. at Manchester Business School Miami Centre, 200 South Biscayne Boulevard, Suite 500.

Rickards has published widely on innovation and creativity, working closely with various international organizations in the development of innovative skills. He has won international awards for his teaching and educational work in his specialty areas, and has held visiting positions at Kiel, ALBA, Canterbury and Alex Osborn visiting professor at the State University of New York, Buffalo. He is a founder of The European Association for Creativity and Innovation, and of the journal Creativity and Innovation Management, which now awards the annual Tudor Rickards Best Paper Prize. Before joining Manchester Business School, Rickards was a visiting instructor and then assistant professor at the New York Medical College and subsequently a technical manager at Unilever. His most recent books have been Dilemmas of Leadership and The Routledge Companion to Creativity. He maintains an on-line publication Leaders We Deserve and is currently exploring the consequences of new technology on the effective functioning of contemporary organizations.
