The Big Weekend
Where else would you get the chance to sample 78 hours of non stop partying, revelling and general bawdiness, safe in the knowledge that when you wake up with a hang over it was all in the name of a good cause?
That’s the beauty of the Big Weekend, the venues on Canal Street pull out all the stops to provide a good time for you and your mates while you provide some much needed cash which goes to improve the lives of others.
The Big Weekend 2007 is on from 6pm Friday 24th August right through until midnight on Monday 27th August.
The Main Stage
This year will see some big names and some hot entertainment.
Lifestyle Expo
Find out all you need to know about sports clubs, community groups, your health, your safety, legal advice and lots more in Lifestyle Expo. You can even get a bit of holistic therapy to help you get through the long weekend.
Women's Space
The Village Hall hosts Women's Space on Sunday 26 August will have entertainment just for women from singers to poets and comedians to bands.
HIV Candlit Vigil
The closing event of the Big Weekend and a chance to get remember and celebrate the lives of those affected by HIV. The Vigil will take place on Monday evening at 9pm in Sackville Park.

Get your baskets at the ready and shop, shop, shop for rainbow goods, clothing, craft items and "toys" - so don't forget your purses boys and girls!
