Manchester Armed Forces Day 2012 June 30, 2012

Building upon the success of last year's event, Manchester is once again proud to host Armed Forces Day. The event honours the outstanding contribution made by current members of the Armed Forces and by veterans of all ages.

On 30 June, Manchester will show its appreciation and support of the Armed Forces and veterans with an afternoon of big bands and food and drink.

Interactive activities include:

•Live music throughout the afternoon
•Veterans Static Parade of Standards
•Military display vehicles and information stalls
•Family-friendly activities
•Food and drink available throughout the day
