This Wednesday, check out Man Man and experience the most bizarre, high-energy, and entertaining show you'll probably ever attend. This playfully exuberant Viking-vaudeville punk-wop indie rock-and-soul collective from Philadelphia is known for their distinctive live shows where the members of the band dress in white outfits and don war paint. Sure, they've got plenty of songs that are easy to swallow, but just as often, they bang on shit and accentuate the atavistic qualities of various exotic genres, mixing waltzes with rock, indie with poppy hooks, and harmony with grunts. If you want your definition of various genres scrambled and redefined, if you want to see a bunch of full-grown adolescents play non-stop for an hour, or if you just want to be highly entertained, we'll see you on Wednesday at Republic.
