Start off the spring season with the sizzling sounds of the Mambo Kings in combination with the Anderson Symphony Orchestra! Their unique blend of Afro-Cuban rhythms and high-energy style make for an exciting night at the symphony. The Mambo Kings are sure to get your toes a tappin’ and inspire you to dance!

The members of this quality quintet have enjoyed performing with such renowned musicians as Aretha Franklin, Johnny Rivera, "El Cano" Estremera, Glenn Miller Orchestra, The Temptations, and Ray Charles. Originating form Rochester, NY, the Mambo Kings have traveled the United States performing at the Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival and in concerts with the Rochester Philharmonic, Baltimore, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Dallas, and Oregon Symphony Orchestras. The Mambo Kings are also a popular feature of the Rochester International Jazz Fest, the Music In The Mountains Festival in Colorado and the Historic Lewiston Jazz Festival in Lewiston, NY.

Making this concert possible is a growing list of sponsors, including Hoosier Park at Anderson, Anderson University, Community Hospital Anderson, Gaither Family Resources, Ricker’s, Saint John’s Health System, Steve and Donna Madinger, and The Herald Bulletin. Partial funding is also provided by Arts Place, Inc. of Portland, IN; the Indiana Arts Commission, a state agency; and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
