Then join us in The Musicquarium with percussionist-extraordinaire-about-town Tor Dietrichson for some dancing fun. Tor's bringing in Mambo Cadillac to turn up the burner in a spicy musical stew of mambo, son, guaracha and rumba guaguanco for the best in Afro/Cuban listening and dancing.
Formed in April 2005 to perform at The Musicquarium, Mambo Cadillac features some of Seattle's finest Latin jazz musicians including Carlos Cascante (lead vocals), Julio Jauregui (keyboard and vocals), Ricardo Guity (drumset and percussion), Dean Schmidt or Jeff Volkman (electric bass), Tor Dietrichson (conga, percussion and vocals) and frequent guests including Thomas Marriott, Doug Beavers, Nathaniel Paul, Jim Coile and many others.
