MAMA's Fundraiser February 21, 2009

Support the Madison Area Music Awards with this fundraiser show featuring two past MAMA winners, along with two more performers who warrant consideration: Felicia Alima, who won the 2008 MAMA for urban artist of the year, is a sultry, hip-hop oriented, R & B crooner. DLO has been among Madison's premiere rappers for over a decade; his 2008 release "Customer Service" has garnered good reviews, and shows he's still going strong. Rob DZ has won 3 MAMAs: In 2005 for hip hop artist of the year, and in 2006 for best hip hop song and best hip hop album. He combines elements of jazz, R&B, funk and gospel with talented wordplay for a fresh, positive sound.
