Training on lead safety and creating and maintaining a healthy home. Attendees will leave the training with an understanding of:

The inter-relationship between the home environment and children's health
The health risks of lead poisoning, asthma triggers, poor air quality, and home safety hazards
Looking for and identifying potential hazards inyour home
How to protect children who live and/or visit your home through safe and effective cleaning techniques


Organized by BCHD Lead Safety Training Institute
Under a grant from the EPA, provide free lead safe work practices training to Baltimore City property owners and residents.
1-hr and 2-hr overview training is available, and more formal 4-hr and 2-day EPA approved training is available.
Register here for individuals and small groups. Groups of 10 or more can host their own training sessions.
