Tristan Taormino is an award-winning author, columnist, editor, and sex educator. She is the author of seven books and runs her own adult film production company, Smart Ass Productions. She directs three porn series for Vivid Entertainment: a reality series called Chemistry; Vivid-Ed, a sex education series; and Rough Sex, a vignette series based around women's real fantasies. She was a syndicated columnist for The Village Voice for nine and a half years and writes an advice column for Taboo Magazine. Tristan has been featured in over 200 publications and has appeared on CNN, HBO's Real Sex, Loveline, MTV, Oxygen, The Discovery Channel, and on over four dozen radio shows.
