Make a pot with Myra May 15, 2010

Visitors and residents are invited to either a morning or afternoon of clay coiling/hand building workshops at Grayshott Pottery near Hindhead.

The two sessions (morning and afternoon) are part of a new schedule of events launched by Grayshott Pottery and are intended to give visitors the chance for a real hands-on experience.

This workshop will introduce participants to some age-old clay building techniques without the use of a potter's wheel. Demonstrations and guidance will be given by ceramics designer Myra McDonnell. Sessions are suitable for adults with or without experience and also for older children aged 12 years plus. All Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Booking is essential. Two sessions will be run, from 10am to 12.30pm or 1.30pm to 4pm.
