Main Street Players present the Regional Premier of "RE-SOURCING" June 4 – 13 at the Avenue Theater, 417 E. 17th Ave, Denver. Performances are Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.; Sundays at 2:30 p.m.. The setting is located in Paris, Arkansas at the Ameriblaze Software Corporation. Ameriblaze has been outsourcing a large portion of its operation to Bangalore, India, to fatten its bottom line. The small group of outsourced workers come up with an ingenious plan on how to save their jobs and get revenge on their boss and Ameriblaze.

The cast, under the direction of Pamela Clifton, includes Lisa Kraai as Melba, Laura Lounge as Jimmie Alice, Abby Apple as Selena, Robert Michael Sanders as Daubney, Seth Harris as Reese and Bruce Rasquinha as Vijay.

Laura Shamas is a playwright, author, screenwriter, and mythologist. Her credits include productions at Golden Thread Productions, Victory Theater, West Coast Ensemble, The Glines (NYC), Walnut Street Theater, Studio Arena, Philadelphia Theater Center, and Denver Center Theater Company. Some workshops/readings of her work were presented by: Native Voices at the Autry, Native Earth Performing Arts: "Playwrights Week", Lark Theater, New York; Soho Theatre (London); Williamstown Theater Festival; The Old Globe; The Geva Theater; and the Utah Shakespearean Festival. Some of her other produced plays are: Moliere in Love, Pistachio Stories, Up to Date, Lady-Like, Picnic at Hanging Rock, Portrait of a Nude and The Other Shakespeare.

Main Street Players began in 1985 in Littleton's historic Town Hall Arts Center with a production of "Our Town" as part of a celebration of the town's 125 birthday. Over the next quarter century the Main Street Players prided itself on producing the finest quality amateur theatre in the area, strong community involvement, and a rich experience for all involved in its productions. Competition at the State, Regional and National levels, through MSP's continued involvement with Colorado Community Theatre Coalition, ultimately lead to international performances with "Quilters" in 1993 in Monaco, and 1999, "Lovers" in Heidelberg, Germany and recently representing the region at the National AACT Fest in Tacoma, Washington with a production of "Eleemosynary". Today, MSP continues to enjoy great respect in the community and attracts actors, directors and production staff from all over Denver.
